A cobra spitting venom at the host with the perfected aim of a Deep South, still--running, life long tobacco chewer, a baboon dropped at over 300 yards, an old one-eyed leopard, and the sorriest rendition of Happy Birthday ever recorded are just some of the highlights found in Jack Brittingham’s Quest for Tanzanian Big Game. Other notable moments occur when Jack drops a baboon at over 300 yards, his wife is scared to the point of flight at the sight of a monitor lizard doing its best Punxsutawney Phil impression, and a congregation of writhing crocodiles. Once again, Jack Brittingham and Briar Lakes Productions have produced another great looking video full of nonstop action and awesome hunts. Left out are dull conversation and slow-mo montages that were seemingly included to fill time or extend the film. This video is all action and fun. During the DVD’s 90 minute running time, Jack takes a variety of game including leopard, lion, buffalo, hippo, zebra, serval cat, and many, many others. Like all great sporting videos, books (and web magazines) Quest for Tanzanian Big Game only leaves you wanting nothing more than to experience the hunt yourself.
